So who is going to buy the second booster pack?

I'm not, as I'm more of an infantry type player (I'm shit in tanks and even worse in planes). So from my point of view it's not going to add anything to my experience of BF2. (No new weapons).

So what about all of you guys and gals?

I will, the maps look a lot more inventive, and they said they're designed with loads of cover for infantry to stop planes and arty ruining it for the ground pounders.

Think I'll wait a while on this one , bought the last one and never get to play it . We even have it on our own server rotation but any time it comes on the server empties .

Yep, why not, its only a tenner.

Have the other two, rarely play them but sometimes Its a good to go in and zip line around the place or have large tank battles.

exactly, it's not going to break the bank if it sucks. i really want to play in those new planes/choppers, and check out that freeway map

If it sucks or not is irrelevant tbh.Sales of euro forces were down sharply from special forces sales which tells me gamers are not interested in paying for mods.Hopefully sales of this will be down even more and ea will realise gamers want properly supported games first and foremost.I know that's not going to happen but meh.

i'd say sales of EF being down on SF might be more to do with people not trusting digital distro moreso then "paying for mods". EF never made it to general in-store release, which hurt sales i'd say

Well I shall not be getting it. Making the game work is a pain and maybe instead of releasing a new pack they should have spent time on improving the core game.

Or maybe people realised how bad SF was and didn't bother with EF ?

SF has no airpower and remains for me the best way to play BF2 :)

EA should put more time and effort into their patchs before releasing expansion packs. There just like a bunch of money grabbing c**ts. There far too many problems with 1.3 patch now heres alot more with this new pack. :(

I keep getting bloody errors when I go to buy it, I've changed things, I've messed around but I still get that same stupid f*cking error each time...that the address or location was garbled, I got Euro Forces okay, I don't know why this is such a pain in the arse.

im not going to bother , bf2 was a lovely lookin game but only ok, too many tweaks and fixes were required to make it enjoyable which still need fixing, but personally i dont like this booster pack policy.

i know ppl are going to say its only a tenner ? but whats to stop them then charging for patches in the future ? like the over powered f2000 when it came out first

im going to wait cause while special forces should have been part of bf2 ( am i the only person who remembers EA saying night vision and grappling hooks were going to be in vanilla bf2 )
who ever came up with the idea "lets make a new patch ( cause we need to fix the last patch ) and use a few maps we couldnt finish in time for bf2 call it euro forces and charge extra" should be shot no judge no jury just shot
