    6 handed
    Stacks
    Me 850
    Villain 1200
Read on villain is he is loos pre-flop ,will call bets post flop as well if they are small bets .all together passive post flop and much prefers calling rather than betting.
He is not a donkey and does not continue with a hand with nothing .

    Hand:
I raise UTG with K6s to 21 (haven’t been playing much and the table is very weak ) and get called by villain on BB.
    Flop (45)
    K6T rainbow
Villain checks and I bet 30 . Villain calls.

    Turn(105)
8 putting a club flush on the board.
Villain checks .i bet 60 .(comments on this bet?) .villain calls.

    River(225)
2c making the flush possible. Villain checks.
now my thought up to now was that I was ahead up to the turn.if that was true then I don’t think the 2c would chance anything as I don’t think villain would be staying this long with 22 or a flush draw. so based on this I thought I should not check here and make a value bet .i thought more than likely villain has KQ ,KJ,if im unlucky KT is also possible.
So I didn’t check this and I bet another 120 here. Comments?

Bet harder on the flop and turn, river half pot is fine.

but really - opening K6s utg is not often fun.

i opened here only because the table was tight and i would have dropped it if i got reraised or if i didnt hit two pair.
when you say bet harder should i bet pot size or more than poz size?

Open limping 56s UTG and raising K6s UTG are both horrible IMHO. I bet the pot on the flop and turn and value bet for 1/2-2/3 pot on the river.

The reason why bet that much is because generally my Cbets are half the pot as well. or sometimes slightly more than half the pot.
If I start betting big hands big and the half pot CBets ,would not be totally obvious when I have something and when I have missed?

Gholi, raising K6s is much better in the CO/Button type spot, rather than utg. If a tighty or two call behind you then you hate your hand. But whatever.

Yeah - 40 on the flop for me, and then the pot would be 125 on the turn, where I would bet between 90 and 100, making the pot circa 300 on the river where I could vb 175 or 200 kinda numbers.

Also - KT6 is a supercharged flop there are sooo many straight draws, and he might well have KQ or QJ or 89 or something like that ... hidden straight draws are killer here, and you have a hand that will tend to pay off a bit.

basically you should resist the urge to play K6s from UTG. Just press fold.

big difference between a continuation bet in position and oop
I dont want to play this hand even with two pair oop so bet pot on flop
I am happy to take it down now

I am wondering have you been doing this a lot though 88 calls horrible flop and lets you continue to hang yourself when he hits on very scary board

As long as you dont make a habit of it preflop is fine.
