The photo from the 1979 All-Ireland final with Brian Mullins 18 inches off the ground and Seanie Walsh's ankles around Mullin's shoulders as he catches the ball above. Probably the best gaelic photo I have ever seen.

Anyone know where I could get an electronic copy ???

Class, theres not enough high fielding in the game. That statement is done to death but nonetheless true

Aidan O'Rourke who plays with Armagh has a shop in Newry called Sporting Visions. It deals with photos from all sports and would certainly have that photo.

I am not sure of the website but i presume its www.sportingvisions.com

Thanks guys - not the one I'm looking for. The one I'm thinking of was a "full frontal" with Seanie's ankles around Mullins' shoulders.

They have it on the wall in the Kerins O'Rahillys clubhouse. I'll find out where they got it for you.

Willie Joe Padden was another man who was famous for his high fielding, if you look at the lad behind Mullins, you can see how high they are.

In the picture I'm fairly sure the OP is talking about one of Welshy's kness is drawn up in front of him, so I'm fairly sure that's not the image there...

I saw a similiar photo of Teddy Mc Carthy a few years ago in a pub somewhere around Kilbarry/Eathpeacon.

I remember seeing it and being stopped in my tracks in disbelief at the height that he was fielding

Slightly off topic (cant find the photo you're looking for online) but I think this is a class photo of some high fielding - some would suggest it’s a dieing art?
