    Hi,

I'm going to upgrade my package to the Sky+ and Multiroom I was just wondering if i can connect a cable between the two boxes so I can watch recorded stuff through the telly with the multiroom box. At the minute I have a "magic eye" thingy connected up to the telly to switch the channels upstairs.

In other words could I connect the co-ax out on the sky+ box to the aerial-in on the multiroom box and use the magic eye to control it from upstairs.

    Thanks

You will need to change the rf2 output channel on the sky+ box so its not the
same channel as your sky box also you will need a bypass kit to bypass your existing sky box {that depands on the way your set up is }, Or just stick your magic eye/tv link into the aerial input on that box

or you could just use a digisender connected by scart to your sky plus box

Don't forget you will need a new remote control to control the Sky+ bax as the standard digi remote will not work with Sky+/HD
That of course assumes you dont mind bringing the new remote from room to room
