System font problem...

I was backing up my font file to an exteranl disk earlier and got a pop up saying something along the lines that I could not move the installed fonts so I cancelled the transfer. I hadn't copied the fonts before I tried to drag and drop them. I later succesfully copied them to the external folder with no pop-ups or warnings.

Anyway, when I opened up WMP a while later, the font inside the player window (the one that details artists name, tracktitle, etc) has changed to one of my installed .ttf (not even sure which one; I have a lot). Some other apps seem to be using this as a sytem font too. It's very illegible in that context and I want to revert to what I was using, but can't find any options for this, so I assume it's a registry change....anyone know where and how I can change it back? I could do s sytem restore but I'd like to know to fix it rather than just undoing it...can anyone ehlp?

Have you tried a system restart to make sure its not just a file reference corruption in memory?

    d'oh

I had re-launched WMP and other apps a few times but when that didn't fix it I assumed it was a permanent change. Reboot of the system seems to have righted it. Nice one.
