Why does SLI kill apps?

    When ever i turn it on in Nvidia properties it kills MSN but leaves firefox and IRC and anything else i have open alone.


    Why does it only pick on MSN?

    No idea never heard of it before to take a stab at it I'd suspect it's a bug in MSN Messenger or NIVIDA's drivers, the latest release notes don't say anything about MSN under known issues.

    Are you using the latest Forceware 9x.xx drivers ?

    Also have you tried upgrading MSN Messenger to Windows Live Messenger which is the new version of the program and see if the problem persists.

    had very similar problems with my 6600gts in sli, was a driver problem, there is a website called driverwatcher or somehthing that lists all these common and some uncommon problems and how to go around it, for some reason alot of them are done with a hex editor
