Urgently need help here. I'm abroad and just tried to send some money online with my credit card to someone using Western Union. They said there is a problem and I've to contact them at an 1800 num. How can I call this number from abroad, have to do this in the next hour, very urgent!

    Thanks!

you can't... you have to find a 'real' number unfortnately.

1800 etc. number are, to my knowledge, assigned to 'real' numbers... you gotta ask them what the dublin number is or whatevvver loike... maybe someone here can help ya

All may be not lost, Jester! As far as I know, FEXCO is the Western Union agent for this part of the world. Its office is 066-9761258. Fingers crossed...

Thanks guys, got that sorted... what an effort!
After plenty of googling, found a UK num that had the Kerry address with it, so gave it a try. 4 customer support personel, a few supervisors and 50 mins later got it sorted, going to be an expensive call!
They only needed to prove I was who I saying I was, so they looked up my name in the telephone book and checked to see if the phone number I gave corresponded... don't know why that took so long
