I'm sure its possible, but does anyone know how to convert .avi files to a format suitable for burning onto a DVD and playing in a standard DVD player (standard as in its an xbox!).
    Thanks

This was asked about 3 weeks ago. And every week before that. Do a search next time.

As I've never been in this forum before, how was I to know its such a hot topic? It isn't stickied either, so I assumed its OK to ask. Thx very much for your help anyway.

should always seach before you post....;)
Anyway, that guide will gie you step by step instructions. Easy to follow and once you get it running you just have to sit and watch it... takes a few hours for a full length dvd.

Standard unmodified Xbox's are notorious for not playing certain types of DVD media brands. Good luck

avi2dvd is great i use it alot, and it takes my pc about 12/15 mins to rip a 700mb avi to dvd format. you can also add chapters screens and the likes, not bad for a 3mb program :)
