EA Downloader

I want to download euroforce, so last night I downloaded the EA Downloader program. When I ran it I got an active x security error. I gave the usual 10 mins to figuring it out, but after changing security settings in IE6 a few times and still getting the error I gave up. Anyone else have this problem? Looked at the EA…

Anyone else have this problem? Looked at the EA support site and there was nothing listed for this problem.

I had a look around and I can download Euroforce from torrentspy (450mb ish). Good/Bad idea? does euroforce have to be installed with the EA downloader or will it just work away?

the problem wasn't with downloading it, I managed that just fine. after I installed it, it wouldn't run. giving me an unsafe activex error....

Not Sure if its related. But MS recently changed the way the it uses ActiveX

Google MS, Windows Script and active x.

Might be worth looking into if you cant get an answer

No trouble downloading EAD from Torrentspy as I remember creating the torrent there for people who ran Win2000 or XP64 acan't download EAD with either OS).

Hi Exactiv, im experiencing the same problem as you. However i never bothered with Euroforce and tried the new Armored Fury out. Downloaded EA Downloader got the activex error. Tried changing my settings and still no luck. If anyone has any idea how to fix please reply in this thread. I pruchased AF 6 days ago and still have not been able to play the game.

I have yet to meet anyone who couldn't fix the activex error by changing the settings in IE....
