Noob update question

    I've been playing BF2 for a while. Never bothered updating it or anything (I think).

    How can I find out what version I'm running? Is it worth my while updating BF2 if I'm a few versions behind?

    Well since 1.3 id say its in your interest even if you only play offline games as the new bot facility would be a big plus, if you play online its almost a requirement. :D

    I never play offline. Only online (what's the point otherwise! :D )

    I still get a decent enough list of servers to choose from.

    What about the weapons, like, I can only ever select one or two for each type of soldier. Am I not doing something?

    You still only get about 20% of the possible weapons by not patching.

    You also only get 60 servers when unpatched as opposed to 6000 when patched.

    Also you'll never be able to play on the same server as anyone here.
