    i have received 3 questions from people from canada(so they say)asking me will i ship the item im selling on ebay as a gift so they can save on taxes,(my item is $200 )they claim that they dont have to pay tax on an item under $20.
    anyone come across this?

    This is a standard tax avoidance scheme. Sending it as a gift makes it least likely to be stopped for tax.
