    Hi All

Finally getting to the nitty gritty stuff! Can anyone tell me what types of wires need to go out of the house to give me

    1. Electric Gates
    2. Keypad entry
    3. Camera and voice for visitors so I can see and hear them in the house.

And final question - what should these wires be housed in under the ground?

    Thanks

    Ptisy

    1. Electric Gates: 3x2.5sqmm SWA (steel wire armoured) for the power.

    2. Keypad/Intercom: You need to select your system first and follow the wiring diagram, they are not all the same.
Digital video intercom uses a telephone type cable recommended type is known as Fermax Green.
Analogue video intercom uses separate cables for audio and video.
Outdoor telephone cable , poly/poly, and RG 59 or similar .

All cables need to be housed in 50mm PVC ducting .
