How can you have land to shoot on but not know the owner of the land?

i'd say it is a case of the friend know the farmer but the farmer will not sign the page ,farmers dont like signin things

Your own words may have something to do with situation, "crazy old farmer", is not a phrase I would use to describing a person who in this case you are canvassing in an attempt to gain permission to enter his land with a loaded gun.

Things like "crazy farmer" shows poor attitude. Obtaining insurance from either countryside alliance or NARGC goes a long way to getting permision as you would indemnify the land owner against accidents.

You could ask another farmer, who isn't crazy and old. There have been threads like this one before and don't think they came up with any magic solutions. Insurance will help when your asking, Countryside Alliance is probably the best.

We're all crazy, and born old :p:D

Serious answer though is it'll probably be hard to get signatures to shoot on other peoples land with an unproven record. The two easiest ways (yes I know this is putting the cart before the horse) are when you live in an area and people know you well or when your reputation as a good professional & responsible shooter spreads by word of mouth. Some good advice been offered here though, good luck!

Most clubs are about 500 to join and 250-300 per year
