    Hey Folks,
Currently my satellite dish picks up Astra 1C-1H & 2C at 19.2°E is this the best with regards picking up FTA channels?
I think this is the old satellite Sky digital use to use as my dish is very old about 3 or 4 years old, it was just attached to the house so i decided to make some use of it & connect it to my PC to have a PVR system for the world cup :)
I connect my satellite to my DVB-S PC Tuner card, I no longer have a sky subscription nor a sky digibox!
Eurobird 1 - Astra 2A 2B 2D = 28.5/28.2 East i think this is the better satellite(s) to receive FTA's with my dish, does it require much work or is it awkward to point my dish at this satellite?
    Thanks in advance
    Rob

Needs to tilt down slightly (tilt about 2 degrees forward) and about 10 degrees more east.

Yes, Astra2/Eurobird would be better, considering the likes of BBC and ITV are all FTA now. Behind the dish, you'd tilt dish down slightly and move to the right a bit (10 degrees as watty has said)
