    My car insurance was due to be taken out of my bank account on the 24th of this month (I pay monthly) went down to check my account on the 25th and the money was still in my account… I went and called the Quinn Direct help line and I was told “No that looks fine, we applied to your bank on the 24th and the funds were withdrawn, your insurance is paid”

    Last month I had to pay by credit card because I had over spent on my Holidays and hadn’t left sufficient funds in the account… But I was told that it would come out of my bank as normal this month… I don’t see the point in going up the bank to get a statement because I know for a fact that no money left my account on the 24th… So either the bank have fooked up, Quinn have fooked up or somebody is paying my car insurance for me… In which case I’m not complaining ;) but I just don’t want to be told in a months time that I’m in arrears or just no longer insured because of someone else’s mistake :o

    Well the money could have come off your credit card again... either way i wouldn't spend the money afaik the insurance company can say your insurance is null & void if not paid...

    No it was someone elses Debit card and their account hasn't been debited for it either.. he checked.. I'm just kind of baffled at this stage

    talk to quinn direct again..tell them that you dont see the money being taken/ or ask them for a receipt to say its been paid....either way this will be sorted ....
