I got totally berated for the way I played this hand... by more than 2 players at the table. The lad I was playing was obviously quite good at building arguments.. because after 5 minutes half the table were agreeing with him.. How could I raise with such cr@p.. How can I hit my 5% shot and then call my opponents ALL-IN without the nuts..??????

I know I didn't play it great... It probably was a bit loose... but surely he played it worse? what do you think? I'm still at this table with him. He's going crazy.

His arguments: "I pushed all in on the turn because I had u on an overpair. How can you call with the low straight?"

When I asked him why he called the flop bet... "I called the flop bet for implied odds"

Is he a total lunatic?

I dont really like the turn play unless he often overbet bluffs. Also arguing with him afterwards is a big mistake, just say yeah your right i just like to gambol and how spades have been hitting for you this week.

omg... that idiot came back from 700 chips. he has 27k. he just dropped into my table to inform them all I was a fish.. The worst thing is I've dropped to 14k...

Winning this tournament.. or at least busting out OwChS is essential!

You played it fine, I keep betting when I hit the straight but as he did the betting for you that doesnt really matter. Whats his problem he was swinging his dick in there with 89 on the flop anyways/
