    took these at a gig on friday, i need a bit of help on what to do with them, i did some basic colour/contrast/levels/noise ninja on them but I'm a bit stumped on anything else.

    The extreme angle of that guys hair works well with the clear lines of the lighting in the 2nd photo. Do you have any other photos With crazier angles? Were they(the band) any good ?

    theres more there. the band was very good, i've seen em play before, they're a pyschobilly act(johnny cash meets sex pistols). there was some incredable portrait opertunities at it very interesting crowd

    Looks like Paddy and Beck, tattoos and piercing can be great for photos, especially with straws involved!

    That backlit double bass one is excellent - my favourite out of that set. The black and white staircase one stands out a lot too. Of the other live ones the 2nd photo of the singer in profile was captured really well.

    great energy there, good vibrant colour

    nice shots and i'd expect grain in those conditions
    maybe you could experiment with just reducing noise on the performer and leave the rest grainy see what thats like?

    as for the guys in the pictures well...

    gives the phrase "bad hair day" a whole new meaning!!! ;)

    i used noise ninja, they were extremely grainy, i might try a few out grain , see the results. this was all with my 18-55mm, my 50 mm is borked, everytime i use the kit lens i'm more impressed, its severely under rated imo
