Best PCI TV-Tuner card for < €100?

Howdy chaps, I'm looking to pick up PCI TV-Tuner card and was hoping for a bit of advice on the best one under €100 as I can't really justify (or afford at the moment ) spending over that amount. I've looked at Komplett and I'm thinking about these two.

I have the Aldi tevion one and it does the job nicely. Software that comes with it does the job but VLC can also take over the card and is easier on the eye.

Is it still available though?, the two Aldi stores near me never seem to get any of their computer equipment back in after it sells out apart from the memory card reader..

You do realize that the first one is Digital TV only right? it can't display analog.

Anyways, tv tuner cards are a real pain to pick out, there aren't enough reviews and there are tons of em, and you have to take every little thing into consideration, like for example I recently bought a tv tuner from PCWorld, it was a hauppauge, and later I found out it supports mono sound only, can you imagine that? in the 21st century a mono? so it had to go back.

What kind of card are you looking for? The first card you linked is only for DVB-S, which is digital satellite, and the second is for analogue TV and DVB-T (digital terristrial, which still doesn't exist here).

That's the problem, I don't really know. I have a Sky (regular Digibox) in my front room so I could hook up the card to the via coaxial cable so there is a satellite dish available to the thing... argh at this rate it'd be cheaper and less hassle to just get another Sky box!. (**** it, that's what I'm going to do).. thanks for the help everyone.

As far as I can see, that Terratec DVB-S card can only receive free-to-air satellite as there's no way of putting a Sky viewing card (or any other kind of subscription card) into it. So it wouldn't be much use to what you want it for, unless you only watch the free channels (BBC and whatnot)
