Lovely pics. Staircase in the last pic has a Newgrange feel to it. Keep up the good work

Indeed thought of newgrange too :) Nice work, looks like rush hour Irish style with the sheep there. Well done there.

    Flower:
    - need a bit of fill in flash
    - the flowers are facing away from the viewer
    - would be a nice shot at sunset/sunrise, it's too high contrast at mid-day

    Gap:
    - your eye gets drawn to that door or hole at the bottom, which is then cropped out.

    Window:
    - the focus should be on the foreground, the mountains would still be in focus as they are so far away

    Sheep:
    - the sheep is walking away from the viewer, any chance of calling it back? :-)

    Muckross:
    - good shot, maybe a little of fill in light would show the lower half of the walls a bit better.

All well taken, technically, just viewpoint differences and personal opinion really.;)

I agree with you about the window in the Gap. But I like the way the sheep is doing its own thing. Personally, there's a sense of obsevance rather than interaction which I think works best for animals in the countryside. As for the abbey I was just tryin to get the slightest glimmer off the walls and steps. My focus was on the stong light from the window.

Thanks a mil for tips and opinions. Will deffo take them on board and post some more photos in the near future!

I thought the sheep one was cool - also the gap of dunloe through the window. The muckross abbey one too - the light glistening on the steps makes it work. There are some other good ones in your gallery too - the Cathedral in Burgos (through the semi stained glass window) and also the hapenny bridge in snow. Good shots.
