Some of you may have seen this thread where I was trying to get my new work laptop on my home wirless network for file and printer sharing - however me being pretty clueless to the netorking side of things, I knocked myself off work domain and so was unable to get access to my computer at all. Thankfully a system restore sorted that out.

So I definitely don't want to do anything stupid again, but I want to try to get my laptop on my home wireless network so I can do file and printer sharing.

Last time I used the networking Wizard - not going to try that again - but an anyone tell me how to do this without affecting any of the settings of the domain I am already on?

    Thanks
    Zascar

I don't think you can be on your work domain and still have the workgroups set up correctly to be able to do print/file sharing on your home network ?

I use a program called IPetC to change network settings on the fly. I think it can do domains and workgroups too.... wouldn't swear to it though. Hopefully one of the networking boffins will have an answer for you...
