blog threads by users and blog ads

    I have two questions:
-Is it possible to have a blog where there's a section that users can create their own threads instead of only being able to comment on the bloggers thread? (like a mini discussion forum, say on one side of the page)

(i was looking on blogspot.com and couldnt find any blogs that had this)

and my other question: the blogs that i saw with ads (using adsense i think), all the ads seemed to be for other blogging sites. is it possible to specify/have some sort of influence on what ads would appear on your blog
    ?

    thanks.

having a mini-discussion thing.. you're referring to what are called "tagboxes" or "tagboards" (http://www.tag-board.com/ is just one example). you can get the script and upload it to your website and away you go. just a case of copy/pasting some code onto your page.

can't help with the adsense thing, sorry!

is that a thing where the messages dissapear, its kind of live? - i want a thing where messages dont disappear - just like a discussion forum only physicaly small and it doesnt need different rooms, just one room would be fine; maybe even without a sign in process..

yeah it's a forum, basically. the messages stay on there rather then disappear
