Due to the amount of threads moved and other nonsense arising throughout this forum, I thought I'd mention that the charter has been updated and everyone should read it.

Of course this thread is redundant as you should always be reading the charter :)

    - Does it add to the forum or is it another thread which is taking up space?

Putting a quick summary of what was changed would probably lead to more people reading the charter as they go "hey, I didn't know that was a rule". Believe it or not, alot of people don't read charters and happily use forums correctly, they usually fall into the "not being an idiot" category.

Ok, you should read the charter no matter what. I might in fact add some nazi rules just to catch people out soon enough because It's so annoying doing it over and over again. :)

Seriously though, what changed? I see the usual stuff but my photographic memory is getting a little glitchy these days, and since it's been maybea year since I last read it, I'm unsure of what rule I might be breaking. Hell if you don't want to state it in this thread, put a date beside the updated rule in the sticky or something (since you put one in the thread title)
Stickies tend to be a blindspot on forums for most regular posters.

Just added this to the charter, to make something crystal clear:

    - This is a catch-all rule for general trolling, bitching and similar. Certain posters have an ability to piss off large quanties of regulars on here. If a moderator feels that said poster is doing this intentionally or is the cause of the mess, then the poster can and will be banned. If this poster was being goaded by others, then they'll be the ones getting banned. This rule will hopefully put an end to the bitching going on in here of late.

Also known as the "SillySausage Effect" SSE. :)
