    but....

The whole gamut of problems aired on the PI forum is very interesting.
It really widens my knowledge of how people are dealing with issues
and coping with them or not... and lovely to see people being so
supportive of folks they've never met or never likely to.
Some folks will puke when they read this testimonial. I'm
just an occasional 40 yr old lurker and occasional poster on
    this forum.

I've no connection with the mods on this board but they seem like
    wonderful folks.

Perhaps the average age is a bit young. I'm mature 40... and I posted some stuff
a while back and I found that some issues I raised related to
issues which really tend to be experience by folks who are married
a few years or so and I did find a certain proportion of respondents
to my query were probably a bit inexperienced to give comprehensive
advice to me but I was impressed with their earnest attempts to
    help !!!

I hope it isn't inappropriate to say but there are times when I've
tears when reading this forum and the opposite end of the spectrum
is I am LMAO (laughing my a*se off). As the infamous Maggie Thatch
said "Life is a funny old business". Thanks PI for helping folks cope
with the vagaries of life as we know it. It hasn't always solved
my problems but the sense of community is palpable.

    thanks PI guys/gals!

yes, we do have a lot of young posters here, but you'd be surprised how many of us are near to your own age and have been round the block more than once at this stage.
