[iPod] Shouldn't the battery last longer?

    Hi Folks,

    Just got a new video Ipod - 30GB - I have a small issue... I think

    the battery doesnt seem to last at all - it says 20 hours on the net but I am lucky to get 8 at a push,

    Everything is down to minimum except for a bass reduction setting in the equalizer menu

    has anybody has a simular issue.....?

    Should I, can I bring it back.....?

    Trade it in, Get an IAudio X5L. IMO a far superior piece of equipment. Just look at the responses in the IAudio thread. But I guess, Apple are good at advertising!!!

    Right...well id say stick with apple

    To answer your question: (OOOOOO, bitchy- i know)

    I don't think they do last as lon as they say, i think that the number given is when it is doing the bare minimum work, playing videos, large files etc takes down the battery faster
