Cheap Wine Weekend!

    This weekend only.
    Dunnes are giving 25% off wine and champagnes (you get the 25% back in vouchers on your "Dunnes card" in a couple of months).
    but
    in response TESCO are giving 30% back (same terms with their Clubcard) :p

    Sure is Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
    Tesco had some good half price offers during the week and now
    with 30% back :p

    Just back from tesco.. got quite a few bottles.. mostly cheap tesco stuff which i actually like :D the white Zin and rosé.
    Even got some multibuy savings i did not know about on west coast cooler and ni de berg.

    Were the extra points on the receipt? Just got back from Tesco, checked the receipt and it just has the normal points on it.

    You get the double points in the next statement.
    They did it before and it all worked fine.
    Have to say Tesco have a better selection of "good offer" wines.

    No.. as above they do not show on reciept! The voice thingy in store was going on about it telling me as much :D

    Not sure if it's because of the Supermarkets but O'Briens are doing some very good special offers on wine.
    Half price, some are under a fiver :eek:
    Speaking of which, have noticed nowadays supermarket wine specials have very very few offers (if any) at under 6 Euro.
    Most of them start at 6.99 now, it used to be 4.99 for specials :confused:
