I fold there and fold preflop or make a real raise preflop or raise the flop or bet the turn or basically anything different. I think that most of the time one of the players will have a K or a T here and even if they don't alexyoda is basically pot commited at this point with only 1500 left in front of him from nearly 4k at the start of the hand and doesn't need a king or a ten to call you.

This is a terrible spot to bluff in I think. Min raising preflop from MP with Q7o into the blinds and a limper is simply terrible play.

As Dapper said, preflop min raise is awful. I think you have to get away from it now, you played the hand badly, at least try not to lose any more of your stack on it.

i shud have raised it more but didnt really matter what cards im holding. check turn and min raise turn you think i should fold?.. alex im pretty sure is on flush draw otherwise i think he wud have pumped it by now

Not sure about this. Still only half way through the MTT, still alot of time to lose a stack. I wouldn't be waiting for premium hands, but I would be selective about the hands I played. Also there are alot of shortstacks at the table, they could be likely to go all in, and if they do they are likely to have better hands then Q 7.

ive got that stack by mostly playing avg hands. remember its a freeroll poker at its best

hey ak,

everything you've done and said in this thread is pretty much wrong. CL's don't play any 2, they don't min-raise with any 2, they don't call on the flop with no hand and no draw and then bluff-check the turn before bluff-raising the river on a double-paired board. Fold this now before you make any other mistakes.

I prefer all players on form, I assume you feel the same. I like a 15 min game but im happy to play a 20 one, 10min ones are too short and are like speed stts IMO. I normally play as Arsenal, but some type of round robin team selection is probably fairest. Ie we pick 2 teams each and play four games, one as each team.

I havn't played it in a while but am definitely up for Mariokart as well, as there'll be some serious pwnage going on once I've had a few practice races.

Daragh I havn't been in the Fitz in months now, only really play in the S/E with the odd trip to the 78Club, but i'd definitely be up for some pre-poker gaming. Perhpas we could organise a poker forums games night??? Seems to be alot of interest. I know HalfBaked might hope his beginners luck will strike again with Pro Evo 5!

Edit: I have SNES, XBOX and Xbox 360 that I can bring with me.

Have Tiger 05, 06, Pro Evo 4 and 5, Top Spin 1 and 2.
