Rumour has it they are casting for a new Prez for season 6, a Kennedy-type figure. Not sure how reliable this is but it would be interesting to see what his views are on Jack and how the establishment in general will regard him. Yes he stopped all those plots but he also brought down a President. Can't see them being too fond of him.

Personally I think the prisoner exchange idea is fairly plausible although one of the producers has said jack will escape the ship before the start of the series. So maybe we'll have Jack, Chloe and CTU vs the Chinese? What do ye all think?

i'd really like a good president back!

ok probably very unlikely, but i loved David Palmers role. full of integrity.. may not be very realistic, but i think it was a brilliant asset, with so many people everywhere else slightly corrupted.


i'd like a few more characters to stay "good" aswell, its gettin a bit weird the fact that now every new character im convinced is gonna try kill Jack, or is somehow involved in something.

Like Myles in the last series, i just new near the end when Karen (thats her name yeah?! gosh i suck) told her that he was gonna do something bad...



oh also, i predict a Bill and Karen passionate love story, hehe

Just saw the finish last night. Apart from the kidnapping I didnt think it was great. Saw how they would trap the president right from the start.

But anways!

Jack was told Kim was on the phone. What if the Chinese kidnapped Kim (c'mon its been done before so its easy enough!) and they hold her hostage in order to get jack to kill some one important. The new president maybe?

It was acceptable in Series 1 cos they needed her to use jack, but Series 2 was a joke


Well, parts of Season 6 are gonna be filmed in New York, and aparently wont take place in China

Just in case anyone doesnt know. The name of the boat Jack was taken onto was the Shanghai

to "Shanghai" someone is when you kidknap someone and force them to work on a boat

So, the ship may well not be headed to Shanghai


Also, Jack wouldnt be able to get from China to LA in a reasonable time, unless the series is all abt him gettin back to LA!


So, I have a feelin tis is gonna be th most RANDOM series ever

Didnt know it was gona be based in New York this time. Didnt want to read anything about seaons 6 before 5 was over.

I would've though the next one would've been how he escaped but if its based in New York they may just leave that blank.

Either way I cant wait.

i think it'd be cool to have a shorter time gap between them, but it mightnt be as effective, if they want a whole new storyline

they can't really keep doing the "1 year", "18 month" etc... later thing, can they? at least a year, if not two between season 1 and 2, not sure about season 2 and 3, another year or so between 3 and 4, then 6 months (?) between 4 and 5...he's gonna be old soon

I've watched Season 1,2,3,4.

Season 4 wasn't great its all like a continuous plot line compared to the other seasons which had one thing in mind like stopping that virus etc in Season 3.

I think season 4 was better than season 3. I hated the whole trip to Mexico and the virus got really boring. Season 4 on the other hand had many different plot threads. The only bad thing about season 4 was the villian palyed by Arnold Vosloo he was very one dimensional and the climax of the season was such a let down.
