Does anyone know what digital set top box ntl use on the mmds is it the same as the cable box dvb-c or is it a dvb-t standard.

AFAIK it is the same signals as on cable for Chorus and NTL, but not identical line up of carrier frequencies. It means no conversions are needed other than normal CATV frequenncy shifts.

With 2.5GHz and 22dBi mesh dish, the COFDM of DVBt is of limited value.

Note, as with cable, ANY viewing without subscription is theft in Irish law.

Analog MMDS that is not scrambled is a grey area since it is a normal TV signal.
