KQs in big blind

Hand from red cow on monday night. I was shortstacked all night but eventually doubled up to 8k with about 35 left. Avg at this stage was about 16k so still needed to make some chips in a hurry to have a chance of doing well. Blinds were 500/1000.

Folded around to cut off who limps. SB limps also. I look down and see KQs in my big blind. What is my play here?

Cut off is loose player who does not like to fold any ace if he catches an ace on flop and has just taken another player out by calling a raise with A8 and hitting his ace on flop. SB is new to me as aint played with him all night.

shovearama. If CO wants to gamble with a weak ace or with some crap like that then let him. You need a double up. You don't want to go in behind ideally but you cann't wait for a good hand. An unraised pot is pretty much what you are looking for here, and there is also the chance that you might increase your stack by 25% without a caller. SB unlikely to call unless he is a value merchant. If he does then so be it. You need chips. You might not want a caller but you need one.

By the sounds of this CO he will be involved in most unraised pots so chances are you will have to tangle with him anyways.

I did push and i was happy with this play and it sounds like it was not a bad play anyway.

Got called by CO with 33, could not believe it to be honest. 3 on the flop and i left fairly rapidly.

SB folded as i knew he would. Think he just limped hoping for a cheap flop.
