    Hi all,

does anyone have any opinion (good or bad) of the Shared Ownership Scheme in the Dublin area?

Any idea of the maxium amount one can spend on a place on the scheme??

Maximum purchase in DCC area is 275K AFAIK.

    Hi,
Has anyone on here applied for this? I'm going for it, am almost ready to apply.

Just on the application form it asks for details of parents & siblings income (if living at home). So I'm wondering is their income somehow taken into account when deciding if I qualify. I mean it's not like they're going to be repaying on my behalf or anything:D !!!

    Cheers,

What interests me about the scheme, in DCC area anyway, is that they tell you not to put a deposit down on a place. How does this work if you're queuing overnight for a place?

you give them your shared ownership reference number and that's the same as a deposit. you then go to dcc and give them your €1300
