800+ competitors showed up in Chicago for gi and no gi submission grappling. I was able to pull off a silver in no gi and Bronze in gi. Those wrestlers are tough bastards. :eek: Will post a few photos later. Purple belt Kron Gracie (Rickson's son) showed up and went against our blue belt Josh and won but it took him a couple minutes and Josh had him in an ankle lock prior to being choked out. Kron won the division. 80 degees today, sunny time to hit the beach.

I appreciate the congratulations, Abu Dabi is next I hear that they are looking for some clowns to entertain between matches. :rolleyes: I'm pasty white and needing a lot of sun screen any time I go out side. I was wearing sunscreen yesterday but my face was cooked lobster red anyway. I'm going to work on my burn this weekend they are forecasting 90 F I think thats around 30C. Kron was very focused until it was all over and when they gave him his 1st place samurai sword we seemed like any other teenager. Lots of rummors on Rickson fighting, he is in Brazil right now training. When is the c-7 tournament? We are watching the UFC this Saturday night at Prime time bar about 300 people showed up last time. They have a larger screen and stadium seating right in the bar. Should rock!! I hope the sky clears for you Irishmen.
