4X4 Driving in the Midlands?

    I need to find somewhere that does 4X4 off road driving in the Midlands
    QUICKLY or I'm a dead duck.
    Westmeath, Offaly anywhere around there.
    Anybody know anywhere that does it?

    not sure about the midlands - know there is a lot of 4X4 activity in Dublin , between Ballsbridge and Blackrock - the catch is that this on road driving and you don't go very fast -- season closes for the summer along with the schools - back again next September for the Ballsbridge tractor scramble.

    No, it's true. I drove down to Waterford at the weekend, and the second I passed Naas (M7), there were no more lights on the road for the rest of the way, and it was all 1 lane. It's as if you can tell when when you've left Dublin without looking at any signs. It's the same heading to the west - just before Maynooth: BANG, no more street lights!

    Oh yeah, and for some stupid reason, the little windy dark bumpy country roads are twice the speed limit (60mph) as the bigger, straighter, well lit Dublin dual carraigeways (30mph). Insane.
