I just got a new dell last week from the outlet, took about 10 days to arrive, the India suport is head wrecking, so i made a complaint and asked to speak to a supervisor who in turn also didnt have a clue so eventually i got put through to a manager(call back) and managed to get a €30 compensation, a free web cam and two printer cartridges, deducting all these, going by the online prices, i got a top spec PC for €255.

The support was really bad though, but its your duty to complain, absoute joke, make them pay for their **** service..be persistent

Top sepec for me - this is only the box now, i already have a flat screen.
Spec 3.2 Ghz Celeron, 1GB dual ddr, 160gb hdd, dvr r/w burner.

Ive slapped my 512 mb video card in it now and its working like a dream. Does me grand for all i need and handles HL2 and FEAR with no worries.

Obviously not top spec but fairly nifty for €255

I think I'll complain anyway (even though I don't need any support)!

Although the last time I needed the support I was lucky enough to still have some of the next day onsite support left on one of the machines. Talking to someone in Scotland which wasn't so bad but do remember having to talk to someone in India which went nowhere!!

Not sure if they do it now, but it depends on the system you are looking support on. The support case a while back was for an Optiplex. The one a few years ago with tech support in India was for an Inspiron laptop.
