Silence a Dell Dimension 5150

    Hi all,

I want to try and silence my Dell box a bit. The fan is quite noisy and I am thinking of trying to replace it and also add a second fan at the rear to keep it cool and therefore quite? It would be great if some of you could recommend/advise on fans (from komplett.ie if possible) ?

Also I was thinking of insulating the case and mounting the drives with brackets that reduce vibration and resonance, any advice?

The PSU is quite enough, I dont think it needs swapping. The fan is te biggest problem by far, having said that once I silence it I'll probably hear the other components! I've never tried anything like this before but some of the tutorials are extreme and will require too much of my time! Want to try and keep it simple and straight forward.

    Thanks
