I'm suppossed to be off gambling while my exams are on, but really like the look of this one....

It will probably go off odds-on, so anyone looking for big prices, look away now :)

    6:40 Windsor
While these 2 year old races don't have a lot to go on, I was able to rule out most of the field almost immediatley, and was left with Hoh Mike and Sonny Red.
Firstly, Sonny Red - Won on its last and only time out beating conquest by a neck on soft ground. R Hughes is on board who boast a very good record here, and (first time I checked this) his sires' stats are very healthy for the flat, including for 2 year olds. The trainer, Hannon, has an average record here.
Hoh Mike - Hills has a fairly impressive record at windsor, and has a great jockey booked in the guise of Spenser. This C&D winner Beat Scented Present by 2 and a half Lengths last time out on good-firm ground, and ran an impressive second previously on Good ground. His sires' stats are decent enough for flat and 2 year old races, albiet a bit behind sonny reds'. While sonny red looks like a big enough threat, Hoh Mike should be able to follow up form and win this handy enough.

He is currently trading at 4/5 at the moment which represents his true value in my opinion.

    Bet: Hoh Mike to win

There's a wisper going around about John egans mount in the last one at musselborough. Hasn't been out for a while, but is supposed to go well in this. it should be around 16/1. A nice eway bet?

I've my eye on Dragon Flame today Bath 2:30, felt he was a little unfortunate LTO being hampered, hmm think i tipped it that day, de je vu!

anyway will go close if not win, danger is the fav which i'm unsure of.

edit: should add that this is a maiden but i feel with Seb on board it will have every chance, slight drop in distance today so I'm taking from that they feel he didn't have a lot of speed left LTO.

I managed to get 11/2 around lunchtime. There's quite a few non-runners now. Same thing happened with Ho Mike. Ended up 1/4. I managed to get it at 8/11 before the 2nd fav was declared a non-runner. Fingers crossed. After a big win on the Eurovision, I'm having a good week.:D
