Subscribing to Boards.ie

I enjoy using Boards.ie, its a great site. Lots of different forums, lots of different opinions/advice on everything.

Whats the story with subscribing, I was thinking of doing it. What do you subscribers think? And also to you that are just like me and using the site freely, would you subscribe? And if not why wouldn't you?

I am a member of another site that has given brilliant info for me on recent backpacking trips I've taken and so I've donated money to that site. I think its fair to give something back to what is pretty much a free service.

I'm gonna be honest. I subscribe for the PM limit increase, the increased avatar size, and the tagline.

Oh, and also access to the shíthot Subscribers forum, which is basically like Hedonism-Central. All the hot boards.ie chicks post pictures of themselves loosely clad there.

I subscribed 'cause I get good use out of the site, you get a blog on journals.ie(which I've yet to use), a few extras and besides the more money they get the more upgrades and stuff they can afford.

Oh and not to forget the S&S forum...lots of scandal there etc etc.

Personally I wouldn't subscribe.

Recently in a pole a Moderator edited a pole to show it in his favour. This to me was unacceptable and so I wouldn't recommend subcribing to this board.

Simple reason for subscribing.
No Money = No Servers = No Boards
As the current slowdowns will attest boards' needs new servers badly.

Hey what happens if you're registered, and have like 300 PM's, and then you don't renew your subscription. Do you lose a load of them?

Your limit drops back down to 150, I know the pain.
You can't recieve anymore until you delete the ones above 150. Oh and it is 3,000 max you can have.
It's such a bitch(tiny annoyance) to empty the box that i will do it again, so I can be lazy.
I'll have to fiddle with my 3V card again.

I subscribed in the past for the no money = no boards.ie reasons. Never really found any of the extras all that useful though I did like having a custom tag-line. Will get around to it again one of these days.
