Hey,

Bought a new hard drive. My old HD has XP Home installed. The disk has since dissappeared. So im not sure what I can do with the new one. I was going to replace the old with new but if it makes it easier on me I dont mind using both.

A friend told me I could make an image of the old, but really the reasoning for getting a new HD was that there is just so much crap on it and id like to install XP on its own partition.

Any ideas?

if you have the product key of your own copy just get a loan of a mates XP cd.

If the old HDD is still ok, try this to retrieve the Product ID:
