Software that capture's a specific scene from a DVD?

Hi, I'm looking for software that allows me to capture a specific scene from a DVD. For example, there's a scene in Starsky & Hutch where Dan Finnerty's band is playing - i'd like to capture that scene and then save it as an AVI or MPEG file. Can you recommend software that might allow me to do this? Many thanks.

You can use DVD Decrypter in "IFO" mode to capture scenes.

But they will be in the VOB format, you will still need to convert them to AVI
