    Hi All

Just booked myself in for a couple of days in june and wanted to know if any of you have any experiences of the hotel or surrounding area (and/or things worth doing while), I have looked at tripadvisor and just wanted if anyone here had anything to say about the place

    Thanks

We stayed there a couple of years ago, during January. It was cold and wet at the time so not much to do in Salthill.

THe hotel is very nice and staff were helpful.

We found the restaurant in the hotel to be very poor however.

Galway is a great spot so best to get bus or cab into town.

Stayed quite a few times (aminly midweek work related) ... nice hotel, nice bar, food in restaurant is crap.

Only 10 mins by cab to centre of Galway, so plenty other places to eat.

p.s Ask for a room facing sea.

Myself and GF stayed there over a month ago. Staff were lovely, rooms were grand, bar was lively and I thought the food in hotel was great. Can't recommend it more and intend to go back. Enjoy

We actually had our wedding there in December of last year. Very nice hotel and the staff are fantastic. We ate in the resteraunt (not the bistro) the night before and I thought the food was really nice. The also have a small pool. All in all a really nice hotel imo.

I live about 2min away from the hotel, its a very nice spot, and as was said, defo ask for a room with a view as they are savage,

are you driving? if you are and the weather is nice, you should go west out the coast road, spectacular views and crazy landscapes the further you go out, spiddal is a nice spot for a meal and walk around.

what kinda things do you want to do?

    S.
