I have a plugin that I want to access a file within the plugin itself.

Is there a command to get the plugin directory and plugin?

failing that a command that points to a data area of the user logged in?

Could you provide more info please, what application is the plugin for and the name of the plugin?

The plugin is mine and its an eclipse plugin.

I could set it to open a file in a fixed directory however I'd prefer to either open the file in the plugins directory directly or in a user data area (eg. c:\documents and settings\user\local settings).
