Did anyone else get a laugh about the Freddie Deeb ‘Going South’ incident in the big cash game 'High Stakes Poker' on challenge last nite?.

For those that didn’t watch it Freddie left the table to go out for a smoke and appeared to take some of his cash from the table(Going South). Johnny Chan spotted it and made a remark about it in Freddies absence. Sammy Farha seemed to agree that he thought he seen the same thing and there was a bit of murmering from the players at the table. Deeb returned back and there followed a few subtle jibes/joking questioning Freddie “Where did you go Freddie?” …”I think he went south lol” …”How much you go south for Freddie lol” etc. At first Freddie thought they were just joking but when Negraneu asked him calmly did he ‘go south’ Freddie realised they weren’t kidding and he went into one and got mad and called for the floor to review the tape. At one point he got so angry that he was challenging any one of them to a heads up game for any stakes any time!. Everyone was trying to calm Freddie down and get on with it but Freddie was having none of it.

The cameras proved Freddie didn’t in fact ‘go south and Chan made his apology.

Did anyone here ever witness anyone innocently or intentionally ‘go south’ or see any scene made about such an occurance?.

I can't blame Freddy for doing what he did. At least Daniel (eventually) has the cohones to ask him straight out.

Reputation means alot to some people, and people pissing on yours if gonna wind them up.

If you accused me of cheating at a table, I'd probably do the same.

What i thought was even funnier was the other guy in the tracksuit, with the worst wig ive ever seen, doing a walkabout, having a drink at the bar, mumbling some utter crap at the table. the only hand he played was pocket ACES and spent the rest of the time counting his money.

His comment about the asian Female player was brillant. It went something like "Besides me, of course, She is the best player at the table. He also made some comment like "Ive never rated female card players before but she is, apart from me, the best player at the table.

I mean we could all sit there for zillions of hours waiting for Pocket ACES, and then making it so obvious that we have them....

I thought there was an awful lot of chit chat during hands which would drive me absolutely mental. Seriouse money, and god oh god but where did Chang get that jumper, it made me feel dizzy

That old senile chap Bob Stupak made the final table at one of the WPT's, must have been on one of his more lucid days.
