A semi-interesting hand from Sun Poker yesterday. I've been at the table an hour or so, playing rocky from EP and MP and maniacally in LP.

I stacked this villain with AK on a 2467T board when he pushed on the turn with AQo.

I have 975 and he's doubled through a donk all-in preflop with KK vs JJ. He has 800.

On the SB I have JJ. Folded to him in the cutoff he raises to $20. He has been doing this with any two everytime it's folded to him in position. I havn't played back at him yet. This time I reraise to $75.

    He smooth calls.

    Flop (154)

    3s 4s 7d

I lead for 150 (good or bad?)

    Again he flat calls.

    Turn (454)

    9s

I don't think this guy will call my flop bet with just a flush draw, but I can't be certain. What's my plan for the rest of the hand?

id lead again with a 1/2 pot bet or maybe 2/3 of the pot.

Tricky one. He's not going to try and bluff you again after the first hand, imo. If hes raising with any two his range is huge. I would prob bet 1/2 the pot and see what he does. If he raises, I would let it go. If he calls again, I would check/fold the river. Bit weak maybe, but the history has to come into it.

Flat calling preflop might of been better given your hand, the stacks and your position. However once you get here I think im checking that turn - depending on what he does im flat calling, folding or check raising all in - sucks if your drawing dead but I reckon you have the best hand.

I like a check here too.
His range is a good bit ahead of your hand here.

Well I did as suggested and checked to him. He bet 250.

Other than regret my decision to reraise preflop, what should I do now?

I think I'm commited to check call an all-in river bet if i call on the turn. And tbh I don't like getting it all in with just an overpair on that board with stacks that deep.

Why are you committed if you call here?

I check/fold I think. His range is ahead of JJ.

Well if i called, the pot would have been 950. If a blank hit the river and he pushed, then i'd have to call 325 to win 1300ish. I think I'm definitely ahead of him sometimes, so with caling odds of 4-1 on the river, i'd have found it hard not to call.

I didn't like his cold call on the flop, so i check folded, seconds after i'd restrained myself from clicking the all-in button.

I typed in good bluff. He showed pocket 9s, so he'd done me on the turn

From the sound of villain I don't think I could fold this hand.
