wireless dissconects every few hours.

    ok im getting a connection from my lynxys router downstairs and when im downloading at night it dissconects and does not try to recocnects how can i set it up that it would try to reconect

    tnx.

    I'm not sure you can this is one of those common problems with the arcane arts of wireless networking I've had it happen to me too & seen countless others. If you Google aerch wireless connection dropping you will see a huge number of possible solutions & causes.

    If the connection doesn't re-establish itself after it drops and you are using the windows WiFi control panel try using the manufacturer supplied control panel instead. Some of these often have more options available including some features to reconnect the connection if dropped but not all do obviously.

    On the client PC side you could try getting a better arial for the WiFi card if it has one the screws off, maybe that could help with stopping the disconnects.

    Try updating the firmware of your Linksys router as well.

    On router side of things, update firmware and try a soft or hard reset.
