    I usually bet this flop then check alot of turns and value bet most rivers..
    What about this line against an agg villain...His vpip is 33% and PFR is 17%..

    He's ok, a winner at 1/2...

    I suspect by the size of his river bet he has me beat, QJ or maybe a 5( for trips). But felt compelled to call...oh the reversies....
    He had 75!!

    Considering he is decent should I pot flop, check turn, and then call bet or value bet river???

    If you pot the flop i think you'll take it down. Whats his postflop play like? Never give free cards with only holding top pair to a loose guy.

    Make him pay for the turn!!! If he calls then slow down if a scare card hits.

    If he is capable of having 75 there then you need to bet the flop. Checking is only really good against someone with a normal range, ie high cards or a pair.
