    Hey all,

I'm a long time member of biker.ie, but there's a nice bike section here on the boards, I'm driving 6 years now - (full time!) and wondered what you're chosen machines were... I'm a cruiser head myself: I wanted to start a thread were we post pics of our bikes... I don't see one here yet...

Here's my runaround (Dragstar 1100 Classic)

...Really? I've been with Yamaha for 5 years - 125 virago / Dragstar 250 / Dragstar 650 Classic and then this 1100 Classic... I have to say I've never had a problem. Fingers crossed though!

Started on a Kawasaki Balius 250 until I blew the engine up on it. Used to go to Galway on it every other week. I'm currently on an SV650s which is a much more timid machine than any high powered 250 but it can go nuts when required. Sometimes I borrow the Girlfriends CB-1 as it's easier to handle in Traffic.

The SV650 is good apart from a design feature in the front cyclinder which can stop firing when it's very wet. Copper grease and a fender extension normally solves this.

I guess these things can happen - I've been well impressed by my Yamaha cruisers - No doubt there's better bikes out there but I've no reason to complain!

Got my new FJR1300 in Feb and have'nt looked back, previously drove a 650 Dragstar for 5 years and loved the cruisers but this machine is so comfortable and so easy to drive and so powerfull :o

I would upload a pic but every time i've tried it just keeps failing for some strange reason, cropped it and cut it down to a managable size but still nothing :-\

I really like the VFR and the Sprint. Saying that the BMW might suit me better as I'm a tall lad. Here's my motor, great little thing and has served me well for 2 years, 04 Suzuki Burgman 125. Previous bikes include 02 Aerox, 01 Aerox, 00 Gilera Runner, 95 Suzuki RG (best bike ever - below), 89 Yamaha TZR.
