Cound anyone proffer any advice on what stretches to do before/after workout / in morning etc..
(or any links to any good resources?)

Also; what is the importance/significance of warming up/down and what does it involve. For ex. what would a warm up and warm down be for a 2km run?

(Maybe put the answer in the sticky thread on advice, its lacking on this subject)

Hard to answer that question, it's too general.

Get a hold of Stretching, by Bob Anderson. It's really the definitive guide and will put you on the right track
