General Thank-You

Since joining here, I've had, found or been given suggestions about playing styles, guitars, amps, strings, sounds, effects, pick-ups; I've been inspired enough to upgrade my electric and am hoping for a new acoustic for my birthday; I picked up a Mini-Cube after reading how pleased so many were with theirs and haven't been disappointed in the least; I've played live (as opposed to what?) for the first time in twenty-odd years (poorly, for sure, but it's better to do and regret than to regret not doing); I've been practicing almost like I meant it for the first time ever and I'm better informed than I've been since the initial few years of enthusiasm when I got my first guitar.

So thanks to everyone here who's had enough interest to reply to my questions and to everyone who's asked questions I'd never have thought of that have provided me with solutions to problems I didn't know I had and to everyone who's more enthusiastic and involved than I am, because a thing like that rubs off on you a little bit at a time.

Now, anybody know where I can pick up a set of new fingers, preferably pre-calloused. The ones I have are wilfully disobedient at times and I think it's time they moved on ... ?

Excellent! Doesn't that 1 post alone make you proud of your achievments no matter what stage your at! Thats music for you. You can never be too good and you will probably never be happy with what you can do. Unless your a smug b$&tard and then your definitly not as good as you think you are!!

It's a niche market I'm afraid, and people are more interested in fresh, young corpses... I got very little.
