This Saturday May 20th Acii Disco welcomes its first international guest to The Hub, Australian based Dj / Producer Kriece will be stopping over on his world tour to make his Irish debut at the club. Kriece has been a permanent fixture on Australia's party scene now for over 10 years. As a DJ he has played alongside such names as Sasha, John Digweed, James Zabiela, Carl Cox, BT, Dave Seaman, Dave Clarke and Lee Burridge. He has played at all major Australian tours such as Ministry of Sound, Cream, Renaissance, Gatecrasher, Mixmag and DJ Mag. Recently he has been Dj’ing around Asia, including a memorable gig at Womb in Tokyo.

As a producer he records solo and collaborates with people such as James Zabiela & Jeff Bennett (as The Flying Doctors), Basek (Junkbeats), America’s Earth Deuley (Low Pressings, Hooj) & Tongut label boss Apoll. Coming soon is a new project with James Zabiela & Nic Fanciulli.

In recent times Kriece has perhaps become best known for his massive remix of Aphex Twin’s “Windowlicker”, which James Zabiela included on his recent Renaissance Mix CD “Utilities”. Last year’s release on Eukahouse with Jeff Bennett (“The 1986 Davis Cup EP”) has received massive support from the world’s biggest dj’s including Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo & Xpress-2.

Kriece’s latest release on EQ Grey – “Heron Castle”, features a remix by Hernan Cattaneo (recently placed No. 6 in the world in DJ Mag Top 100). Kriece has recently kicked of his “Kindred Sounds” label which already has tracks and remixes lined up from Infusion, The Flying Doctors, Hakan Lidbo, Oliver Lieb, Jeff Bennett, Phil K & more.

Coming soon are releases on Kindred Sounds, Immigrant, Offside, Shva Music and CP Recordings among others.Kriece also hosts a monthly radio show on Proton which is broadcast world wide across the internet. Tune in at www.protonradio.com
