Ok so i just got a Nokia 6680 upgrade - nice phone and all that but anyone have any experience in using it with a mac? I can send images and stuff to the mac via bluetooth but can see the phone if i plug it in via usb?

Also when i first put a memory card in I had acrobat pdf viewer on the phone but i reformated the card by accident and dont have the viewer any more?

I'd like to be able to copy some songs onto it but bluetooth is so slow.

What do people think of these phones? and any mac users use them?

Bluetooth is not largely designed for transferring large files, just regular data like pictures and small user videos. Best off using a card reader for transferring movies or music onto the phone.

I can give you a s60 pdf viewer if you pm me also, I know I have one here somewhere.

i don't think you can get the nokia pc suite for mac. best get a memory card reader if you want to transfer large files. unfortunately i don't think you'll get all the features working on a mac

as commander vimes says, a memory card will be less hassle.. your mac wont see you 6680 via the data cable. themes, games are fine via bluetooth but mp3 & movies take ages.

deffo get a card reader for anything more than ad-hoc small file transfers

there are options for sync support on Mac if you were after them:

the 6680 is supported by iSync on Tiger (so you can sync your iCal/Address Book)
    http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/

there are also 3rd party solutions if you want some extra functionality like support for Entourage:

then there are the likes of Salling Clicker for remote control of your Mac and various apps on it:
