Hi all,

I am trying to find one of those micro cases (the size of a mac mini) but the one's I found are pretty pricey

Is there any other place that sells them

Thoses cases include a psu, a motherboard AND a case, so yes they can be very expensive but you do get what you pay for.

What do you want to build a Small form factor PC for?

If you want something the same form factor as a Mac Mini why not buy one they can run Windows now thanks to Apples Boot Camp.

There are some clones out there with the same form factor but they end up more expensive than an actual Mac Mini.

There are some Nano-ITX VIA C3 setups out there as well try taking a look at LinITX they ship to IE.

I was kinda hopin' it wouldn't be that expensive, I might be able to salvage some spare parts from other rigs to offset the cost.

I've been wondering how well windows runs on a mini, especially drivers. Anyone done this yet?

I haven't done it to a Mac Mini myself but I know some who have and read plenty of accounts.

As for how it fairs it runs perfectly fine better than OSX even, as XP is less demanding on the hardware. Apple provide all the windows drivers for the hardware which you can install and that's all there is really to it.

Of course the Mac Mini uses Intel integrated graphics so your not going to be playing any games but for everything else it works just fine.

Apple have a PDF on their site that covers the installation steps.
